Dr. Linda Van Leeuwen completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2012. Prior to her graduate studies, Linda earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Over the course of the past ten years, Linda has worked in multiple settings including inpatient acute care, home healthcare and her passion, outpatient orthopedics. Treating patients in each of these settings has given Linda great insight into the expectations of recovery over a continuum of care.
Linda ran competitively on her schools’ Cross Country and Track teams in both high school and college. She also coached at Ramapo College for 8 years following graduation. She enjoys living an active lifestyle, and understands the frustrations of being limited by injury. Linda is a strong believer in the idea that being able to live an active lifestyle is beneficial for ones’ mental health and overall well-being. She is passionate about addressing a patients’ deficits so that they are able to maintain or return to an activity that they love.
